Located in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Cumberland Pride Society was established in September 2006.  We provide a safe and friendly environment for the GLBT community. 

We aim to establish positive educational forums to raise awareness in the community at large, and celebrate the diversity of our citizens.

The GLBT community recognizes a gay/straight alliance is imperative to the well being of both societies to become as one.

Therefore, we shall encourage dialogue as a tool towards that end.
